BERLIN HERITAGE is a new name in the field of electronic music and is the alias of the German artist Robert Sigmuntowski who is following the trend of going back to the roots of the 70’s era of electronic music, namely TANGERINE DREAM and Klaus Schulze.
It is a field that has been heavily milked in recent years, however Robert’s album (as well as providing mysterious, hypnotic, slow-motion atmospheres that lead to old-fashioned sequencer patterns) gives things space to breathe and brings to mind the early work of Bernd Kistenmacher.
If you like your tracks long and broodingly atmospheric, then this album is a very good album for you.
